The Offshore Partners is the initiator of the Green Octopus industry alliance. The consortium, comprises the Offshore Partners, KCI the Engineers, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC),Fraser Well Management and TNO . Green Octopus is an independent collaboration that is dedicated to decommissioning and re-use, with the appropriate capabilities right across the value chain.

The Offshore Partners have been involved in the conversion of the ‘Amazon’, McDermott’s Deepwater Construction Support and Pipelay Vessel, capable of executing complex infrastructure and pipeline projects in ultra-deep water.

The Offshore Partners have been involved in the building of the ‘Aegir’, Heerema Marine Contractors’ new Deepwater Construction Vessel, capable of executing complex infrastructure and pipeline projects in ultra-deep water.

The Offshore Partners is currently involved in the construction supervision of a series of offshore pipe-lay vessels for TL Offshore, a subsidiary of the Malaysian company SapuraKencana, who together with the Norwegian company Seadrill have won contracts for a major South American operator, to lay flexible pipelines with a diameter of 100mm to 630mm, in a depth of up to 2500 metres.
