You will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards, liaising with subcontractors and logistics partners, and keeping the project on schedule and within scope. Planning and Development

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy transport operations involving SPMTs and barge logistics;
  • Oversee the selection and coordination of transport equipment, subcontractors, and support personnel for all phases of the project.

Review and Coordination

  • Manage all project documentation, including transport plans, risk assessments, method statements, and compliance records;
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, barge operators, SPMT crews, clients, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery;
  • Ensure all operations comply with applicable safety regulations and permit requirements, especially related to levee/dike access and barge loading.

Execution and Support

  • Supervise on-site operations, including SPMT mobilization, levee/dike crossings;
  • Monitor progress against schedule, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and ensure safe and efficient execution;
  • Maintain strict adherence to HSE protocols and manage all critical lifts or transport movements accordingly.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to terrain, weather, barge loading, and equipment limitations;
  • Manage changes in scope, budget, or logistics, and implement corrective actions without compromising safety or schedule.

Delivery and Accountability

  • Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards;
  • Provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders and clients throughout each project phase.

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in heavy transport, heavy lift, or infrastructure/logistics project management;
  • Proven track record in managing SPMT operations, barge transport, and complex on-site logistics;
  • Familiarity with U.S. Gulf Coast regulations and permitting processes is an advantage.
