About our client
Our client is a leading company in towage and salvage operations, both within and beyond Europe. Their activities primarily focus on harbor, terminal, and offshore operations. The company operates a diverse fleet, including tugs, offshore support vessels (OSVs), multicats, and combitugs.
Role overview
We are looking for a Master (II/2) with proven experience in operating ASD tugs.
Key responsibilities
As a Captain in the towing service, you are responsible for the overall safety, maintenance, and operation of the vessel, as well as leading the crew. Your duties also include vessel administration and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. The current sailing/leave schedule for the offshore towing service is 4 to 6 weeks on/off, depending on the work area. For the harbor towing service, the schedule is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
What we’re looking for
- At least in possession of an STCW 2010 certificate of competency as Master <3000GT and valid STCW certificates;
- Experience as a tugboat captain is a plus;
- You are resourceful, flexible, well-organized, and have a hands-on mentality;
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
